An unruly body breaks its frame, pushing against the mainstream tide.Synopsis
CHENG Chih-Chung(A-Chung) walks with his hands, carrying the weight of polio and a childhood filled with anger and confusion. At 19, he met theater director Tian, who opened a world of refuge and awakening for him. After Tian passed away from complications related to HIV, A-Chung was once again bewildered by life, confronting its fragility and unfairness. 35 years later, after decades of performing on stage and being an activist on the streets, he continues to create, to endure, and to rise through life as if defying gravity, on a lyrical journey of struggle, resilience and relentless spirit. |
